Voegel Services India, New Delhi: Partner for German exams

The new ÖSD examination center Voegel Services India is the best-known center for German courses and internationally recognised German examinations in New Delhi.

The institute offers a wide range of German courses and German examinations at all levels for adults and young people. These include general language courses as well as specialised and company courses. The language courses are supplemented by a comprehensive examination programme. The courses, from A1 to C2, are available completely online. The 160 teaching units plus 20 hours of special exam preparation are conducted via Zoom.

Small groups and practice-orientated teaching

Voegel Services India attaches particular importance to action-orientated German lessons. This also includes intercultural training as preparation for onboarding in the target country. The focus is on enabling candidates to apply their language skills in the real world. Teaching takes place in two groups with a maximum of ten participants per class. In addition to group activities in breakout rooms, German is taught using the digital teaching package or Allango. Teachers use videos, songs and games to impart cultural knowledge and avoid unnecessary PowerPoint presentations. This approach promotes learner autonomy and communication skills.
Special weekend conversation courses are also offered, which are also available to customers in Germany.

Further training of teachers and methodological approaches

As a teacher training institute, Voegel Services India regularly organises workshops and seminars on teaching German as a foreign language (DaF). The teaching staff either speak German as their mother tongue or have excellent German language skills. Training and further education help the team to keep their knowledge and methods up to date.

Target groups of the German exams

Voegel Services India prepares candidates for ÖSD examinations at levels A1 to C1. They come from a wide range of professional fields and educational backgrounds: from nursing staff (e.g. nursing, physiotherapy, radiology) to dual trainees (e.g. mechatronics, catering, construction) and university students.
