Certified exams for German at MIG – new in Alexandria
The MIG language school is expanding its tried-and-tested programme in Egypt with a further location: MIG is now also represented in Alexandria – with certified ÖSD exams for German at all language levels.
Holistic approach to language learning
The MIG Innovation Group was founded in 2015 by Ali Mansour and Yasser S. Muhammad. The team consists of highly qualified specialists in German as a foreign language (GFL) who have studied, lived and worked in Germany.

- The University of Siena (Italy), with which MIG co-operates in the CILS certification.
- International companies such as Vodafone, which uses MIG for specific job-related language training, especially for employees in customer service.
In addition, there are collaborations with GIZ, Signite and TransMigra, which specifically prepare Egyptian skilled workers for the German labour market.
Thanks to these strong partnerships and the holistic teaching approach, MIG offers its students the highest quality in language teaching, complemented by internationally recognised certifications and practical training opportunities.

Modern environment for language teaching
The language school’s classrooms are equipped with modern projectors, whiteboards, loudspeakers, laptops and interactive whiteboards to make lessons as dynamic and effective as possible.
The institution employs a total of 40 qualified GFL teachers – all of whom speak German at C1/C2 level. They regularly take part in training courses in Egypt, Austria and Germany in order to continuously expand their teaching skills and keep up to date with the latest methodology and didactics.

Language tests for German-speaking countries
MIG was motivated by the need for internationally recognised language examinations for German in Egypt: The increasing number of students and professionals wishing to emigrate to Germany, Austria or Switzerland has shown that a local quality-assured examination centre is urgently needed.
‘With the opening of the new ÖSD examination centre, we want to expand our range of examinations,’ reports Dr Muhammad, MIG founder and ÖSD exam manager. ‘The wider range of language certificates should increase our learners’ chances of an academic or professional future in German-speaking countries.’
Recognition of the ÖSD worldwide
As the ÖSD German certificates are recognised worldwide as official language certificates, MIG course participants have the flexibility to qualify for university places, work permits or visa applications.
According to Dr Muhammad, demand from students and companies is high. ‘Many of our students and cooperation partners prefer ÖSD certificates, as they assess language skills in a practical way and are geared towards realistic communication situations.’
